Lately many of us have been ditching our full coverage foundations in favor of skin tints, tinted moisturizers, and serum foundations. Natural skin is in, and just in time for the warmer months! Here is a list of the best tinted serum foundations at the drugstore.

Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator

The Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator is the perfect lightweight, non greasy formula. To me this is the true definition of a skin tint, with sheer to buildable coverage. It is infused with hyaluronic acid and squalane to keep your skin feeling hydrated, and comes in 8 shades, which is a pretty decent range for a skin tint.

NYX Bare With Me Tinted Skin Veil

The NYX Bare With Me Tinted Skin Veil has remained a go-to in my arsenal for many years now, and is in fact the first skin tint I ever used. It’s non-comedogenic formula is perfect for acne prone skin as it will not clog your pores, and offers an light-medium coverage. The finish is natural and skin-like, which is exactly what you want in a skin tint. It comes in 12 shades, which again is a pretty good shade range for a skin tint.

NYX Bare With Me Luminous Tinted Serum

The NYX Bare With Me Luminous Tinted Skin Serum is newer to the game, however that hasn’t made it any less popular. It has been flying off the shelves, and thus has been harder to track down. If you are a fan of the original NYX skin tint but prefer more of a glowy finish, then this is for you.

L’Oreal Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation

Unlike the other skin tints, the L’Oreal Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation includes broad spectrum SPF 50. With spring rapidly approaching, it makes using SPF in your daily ritual all that more important. It is infused with vitamin B3 and will keep your skin hydrated all day long. The finish is natural-radiant, and it offers a medium coverage that will not settle into fine lines and wrinkles. It is also non-comedogenic, so it will not cause you to break out.

L’Oreal True Match Nude Tinted Serum

The L’Oreal True Match Nude Tinted Serum is another one of my cult favorites in this list. It really exploded on the market this year, and has become a staple for many makeup lovers. This serum is infused with hyaluronic acid, and boasts a natural radiant finish that offers plumping and hydration, making it great for dry skin types. I have this in 3 shades, so no matter if I’m pale or tan, I will have one handy. It offers a light buildable coverage, and is very skin-like.

L’Oreal Age Perfect 4-in-1 Tinted Balm

Another newbie in 2022, the L’Oreal Age Perfect 4-in-1 Tinted Balm has truly hit the ground running. It has become an instant sensation in the beauty community, because the formula is unlike anything else on the market. It’s balm formula is so unique, and really melts right into the skin giving that perfect “your skin but better” look. While it works well for youthful skin, it works wonders for mature skin because of its firming and smoothing properties. It offers light to medium coverage and gives a luminous finish. I would recommend going a shade lighter from what you think you would normally take, as they are quite a bit deeper than other L’Oreal shades.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Tint

The Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Tint is a lightweight water gel formula with hyaluronic acid and is also oil-free. It is also non-comedogenic so it won’t clog your pores, and offers a moisturizing and plumping effect to the skin. It is a great option for dry skin, and leaves you with a beautiful natural finish.

Neutrogena Sensitive Skin Serum Foundation

If you have sensitive or dry skin, then you will love the Neutrogena Sensitive Skin Serum Foundation. It contains vitamin B5, which helps protect the skin’s moisture barrier to keep your skin looking healthy. It offers a light to medium buildable coverage and helps to minimize pores. Since beginning my Tretinoin journey, this has been a must for me to keep my skin feeling hydrating and fresh.
