Natural skin is in! This past year skin tints and tinted moisturizers have exploded on the market, alongside cream blushes and bronzers. We’ve also seen a rise in the popularity of lip oils instead of lip gloss, and the laminated fluffy brow look still remains strong.
Here are some of the top products you need this spring season.
Primer
You should be using an SPF regardless in your skincare routine, but if I know I’m going to be spending a lot of time outdoors, I always reach for a primer that has additional SPF in it. I find that Milani makes great affordable primers that don’t leave my skin feeling greasy or shiny.
Skin Tint
Like I mentioned earlier, natural skin is in! The Tinted Hydrator by Wet n Wild is a great drugstore affordable option that looks and feels weightless. It’s got that “your skin but better” quality about it which I love, and has a natural finish.
Concealer
These days I’ve been reaching for my light to medium coverage concealers, but particularly as we enter into the warmer months. My favorite one has to be the L’Oreal Age Perfect Radiant Concealer, which is a great dupe for the NARS radiant creamy concealer.
Bronzer
As I said before, cream products are trending this season, and I’m here for it. The Putty Bronzers by E.L.F. come in a wide variety of shades, and are comparable to the Chanel cream bronzer, only a quarter of the price. They blend out super easily and are buildable.
Blush
Like the putty bronzer, the E.L.F. Putty Blushes also come in a variety of shades. This is my go-to cream blush because I know it’s reliable and will last me all day long.
Brows
I love a good bold brow, the fluffier the better. I’m not one to spend money on brow lamination, so I was on the hunt for something that would mimic the look. That’s when I stumbled upon the NYX Thick It Stick It brow gel mascara! This stuff truly holds my brows up and in place all day, and really makes them look thicker and fuller.
I like to pair that with my other favorite brow product of all time, the NYX Lift & Snatch brow pen. I prefer a felt tip pen for precise flick marks, and this one does the job. I’ve had it now for almost 6 months, and it has not dried up or run out.
Mascara
The Maybelline Sky High Mascara has been a staple in my makeup routine recently. It’s a great dupe for the Benefit Bad Gal Bang mascara which I love so much, but at a better price point. This gives me the longest lashes, and I’m often asked if I have eyelash extensions.
Lips
NYX lip pencils are the best at the drugstore in my opinion, especially for neutral shades. I have loved their shade “ever” for years now, and recently purchased “peekaboo neutral” and “nude truffle”.
Lip oils are very on trend this year, and so I decided to try one for myself. I originally was going to splurge on the Dior lip oil, but then I found the Clarins Lip Comfort Oil. I purchased the shade “candy” and I absolutely love how juicy it makes my lips look. They can be hard to come by, as they are seemingly always out of stock.
