Is the RNW Der. Concentrate Ceramide Plus serum a dupe for the DRMTLGY Needle-less serum? Let’s find out!
DRMTLGY Needle-less Serum

Lets begin with the ever-popular cult favorite; the DRMTLGY Needle-less Serum. This serum is chalk full of peptides, and can be used twice-a-day to safely targets the appearance of fine lines around the mouth, eyes, and forehead, while also hydrating the skin to give a radiant glow. Their advanced formula helps with signs of aging by strengthening skin’s moisture barrier, while improving the look of suppleness and pore appearance. It is formulated with their patented Cerapep® Technology: a revolutionary blend of restorative peptides & ceramides.

But what are peptides exactly, and why are they so beneficial for our skin? Peptides are amino acids that make up certain proteins needed by our skin. To be more specific, collagen is made of three polypeptide chains, so adding peptides can stimulate your skin to make collagen. The production of more collagen can lead to firmer, younger-looking skin.

With thousands of 5 star reviews, it’s clear people love the Needle-less serum, and who wouldn’t? Its ingredients list boasts some of the best skin-loving ingredients, plus it is said to work well with all other skincare products and easily absorbs into the skin.

It’s been featured in Vogue, Allure, WebMD, and many more. To top it all off, it’s paraben free, fragrance free, and not tested on animals.

Okay, so what’s the catch? Seems pretty amazing right? Well for me spending $70 on a single skincare is pushing it. Now for some this may not be a deal breaker, but for me I have a hard time dropping that amount of coin on a one serum. I’m sure many of you feel the same, which is how you ended up here searching for a more affordable dupe.
So without further ado, may I introduce to you THE DUPE!
RWN Der. Concentrate Ceramide Plus Serum

The RNW DER. Concentrate Ceramide Plus serum is a multi-Peptide serum that reinforces the skin’s barrier and stimulates collagen production. It is suitable for all skin types, but will take special care of dry, dehydrated or mature skin. It Contains a combination of 5 unique ceramides, which will protect the skin against environmental aggressors while simultaneously locking in moisture. One of the leading causes of visibly aged skin is dehydration – this serum seals in moisture, giving the skin a subtle, glowing appearance without the use of parabens, fragrances, or irritating additives. It also tightens pores and improves elasticity. All of this sounds pretty familiar right?

RNW is a Korean Beauty brand, and as many of us know, Korean skincare is simply elite. Their ceramide plus serum is dermatology tested and can be used alone or in combination with other skincare products.
Standout ingredients include: eight types of peptides, low-molecular hyaluronic acid, Niacinamide, Adenosine, Squalene, prebiotic oat, antioxidants from green tea, algae and artichoke, and omegas from avocado oil. Basically, everything your skin needs in one bottle.
It retails for around $43, which while still being on the higher end side of things, is still a better price point that $70, and something I can get behind.
Side by Side Comparison Time
Below you will see a side-by-side comparison of both ingredients lists. I took the liberty of highlighting key ingredients that both the Needle-less serum and the Ceramide Plus serum contain.

As you can see, the Ceramide Plus serum obviously has quite a bit more ingredients than the Needle-less serum, twenty to be exact. Keep in mind I only highlighted crossover ingredients – there are still many other amazing standout ingredients listed in both that are simply not highlighted because the other does not contain it.
Another key point I wanted to mention is the DRMTLY serum contains 4 peptides, while the RNW serum has 5! So you are actually getting an extra peptide, as well as quite a few other beneficial ingredients which are not highlighted such as squalene, artichoke leaf extract, betaine, beet root extract, algae extract, and more.
In conclusion, I would consider the RNW Der. Concentrate Ceramide Plus serum a fantastic dupe for the DRMTLGY Needle-less serum. It contains many of the same peptides, as well as other key ingredients that you would hope for in a top performing anti-aging serum.
