If you’ve been here for awhile, then you already know my hair grows extremely slow. If you’re new, then hi! I’m Alya and my hair grows at a snails pace. I have always struggled with finding curly clip-in hair extensions that not only suited my hair type/texture, but didn’t lose their curl pattern once washed. Believe me, I have tried them ALL. I nearly gave up until this year I discovered Bebonia curly hair extensions.

At first I was hesitant to buy, because they are not cheap. That being said, no quality hair extensions are going to be cheap, it is an investment. I was also nervous that the pattern wouldn’t match up to my 3A curls, and the texture would be too coarse for my fine textured hair.

If you aren’t sure of your hair pattern, please refer to the chart below.

Many of the other companies I purchased from in the past only carried one curl pattern, and there certainly is no “one-size-fits-all” for a curly hair. The curl pattern would typically be catered towards 3B-3C type curls, which style as I may, did not mesh well into my natural curl pattern. What I noticed right away was that Bebonia offered three different hair patterns: curly, spiral and ringlet.

Each hair type will tell you which hair pattern in blends best with. Curly is best suited for 3B, spiral 3A, and ringlets 4A. If your curl pattern is mixed (or you have 3C curls), you can contact them, or purchase one set from each pattern that you have. With this information I was able to then select spiral, and choose my color, length and thickness.

I chose spiral in natural black with 220G and 22″ length. I probably could have gotten away with the 110G set, but my hair had a blunt cut and I knew it would make it more difficult to blend the extensions in, so I went with the set that contained more.
