Hey loves! I know we are well into January, and I wish I could have gotten this post up sooner. Based on the feedback I received, it seems like many of you wanted to see an affordable winter fashion haul, so here it is! I’ve included a bunch of my favorite brands, as well as some I don’t shop at all too often. I also wanted to note that I do live in Ireland, so some of these styles might be more suitable for the colder climate babes, however I think warmer winter gals can rock most of these as well. I did not include any jewelry in my photos, as I wanted the focus to be on the clothes themselves. I tried to keep all other accessories under $70 and all clothing items under $45. Outerwear prices may vary, but I tried to find good deals for you all. Some items are under $10! I will do my best to link exact items below if they aren’t sold out. If not I will link visual similar items 🙂
Night Out On The Town
This is seriously one of my favorite looks for a night out! I love the monochromatic color scheme, it really makes this faux fur jacket a statement piece. Unfortunately these black faux leather pants from Zara are sold out, but I will link a similar pair below. Also, this jacket is on sale for $20 you guys! Such a steal.
Cozy Glam
Of all the finds in this post, this chunky turtleneck is one of my faves. It’s seriously so comfy and I love the oversized fit. You’ll see that I’m all about the oversized knits this season. The best part about this sweater is you can dress it up with black faux leather pants and heels and you’ll be good to go. Or you can make it more casual with a pair of distressed denim jeans and boots. I will link a couple shoe options, I personally like a more dainty feminine heel to contrast the chunky sweater. If you want it to flatter your figure more you can even add a belt! Either way it’s a win-win in my book.

Everyday Basics
Okay, so I wanted to start out by saying I’m really loving the stripe trend this season! It makes a basic sweater a little more exciting. I also searched high and low for an affordable, yet warm pea coat, and I must say I really lucked out with this one! Unfortunately, it’s almost completely sold out online, and I could not locate a similar item anywhere! Your best bet is to check your local shopping centers and department stores. I couldn’t find this exact sweater in the online H&M U.S. store, however here is a link to another store, or you can always check in person 🙂 I will link a visually similar sweater below.

Classic Chunky Knit
Another one of my favorite snags from my latest fashion haul. This chunky knit goes with literally everything in my wardrobe, and it is sooo comfy! It’s more of a tunic/jumper length, but if you aren’t very tall it could even double as a sweater dress. I like to pair it with black faux leather pants or skinny jeans, however it would look super belted with leggings and OTK (over the knee) boots. You can dress this piece up or down, it’s so versatile (and I am all about versatility). My go to color of choice in pants is usually black, but I’m actually really loving chunky knits paired with wide leg pants in bold colors, it’s very Victoria Beckham. I will link some different options that I would wear this sweater with below.

Live-In Cardigan
I am so sad I could not find this exact cardigan to link for you guys! I got it on sale at Zara for $22, and it is literally the most comfortable thing in my wardrobe. I slept in this cardigan on the plane when I was flying to Ireland. The faux fur lining is so soft and makes the hood feel like a pillow. I did however find it online in grey and neutral, but I would recommend waiting for the price to go down. I will link it below just in case 🙂 Also here is a similar style. I’m going to provide a bunch of different styles that I also love, most under $50.

Casual Vibes
I have already worn this outfit numerous times. This top is so soft, and I love that it’s slightly cropped. Unfortunately this exact top is sold out, but I found another one almost identical and with a pocket! I like to pair this top with high waist “mom jeans” as my boyfriend calls these (because of the color not the fit), for a relaxed, comfy look. I couldn’t find the exact pair online, but I always see them in the Old Navy store. I will link similar ones below. Pair this outfit with a beanie and you are good to go!

Fitted Puffer Jacket
This is definitely a cold weather item. Although I’m originally from Maine, I had been living in California the past few years, thus donating much of my winter attire. I certainly did not have any puffer jackets. Once I moved to Ireland, I realize I was going to freeze if I did not invest in one. I bet my fellow Mainers feel the same right now 😉 I purchased this jacket at Zara during a sale, and although it’s sold out, I found a very similar one (on super sale) here. I was a little disappointed with the quality of this jacket. The second day I wore it, I noticed that one of the attachments on the removable faux fur on the hood had ripped. So now it kind of just flaps around instead of being attached to the button. I still wear it almost daily because I feel absolutely no cold air inside of it. Plus I love the adjustable drawstrings. This blanket scarf is from H&M and probably in your local store 🙂

The Everyday Sweat Suit
I’m going to be honest here, I spend a majority of time at home (usually sitting in bed). When I’m not out taking pictures, I’m at home working on my blog/YouTube channel. It can be very time consuming, and I want to be as comfortable as possible. This is one of the cutest sweat suits I have ever seen, and I love that the hoodie is slightly cropped. It’s super soft and the fit is very flattering. Plus, the bottoms are high waisted! Added bonus. I’ve linked the top here and the bottoms here. If you don’t fancy this exact look, I’ve linked some other options below, as well as a non-cropped version of this set.

Textured Oversized Sweaters
I don’t typically gravitate towards grey, however this winter I have more than ever. It’s hard to tell in these photos, but this sweater has this super cute textured pattern on it. It turns a boring grey sweater into something a little more unique and interesting. This sweater may be sold out online, but I only bought it a week ago, so I would check your local H&M stores.

For The Working Girl
I know all of you are hard working women / girl bosses, so this one’s for you! You can never go wrong with a classy, chic outfit. When it comes to business/work looks, I like to keep it on the conservative side. I feel more confident, and people respect and take that seriously. This look is perfect for pretty much any office job, whether it be banking, design, teaching, reception, or customer service. The red makes a bold statement, while the tweed gives a professional flare. I seriously snagged this jacket for €7.00 which translates to $8.67 USD! I love the pearl detail on the pockets, so I’ll link some similar ones down below. The store is called Primark in most of Europe, but in Ireland they call it Penneys (derived from the U.S. store J.C. Penney). Unfortunately there are no locations in the states, but I would say this store is most similar to Walmart in pricing, maybe even cheaper. The quality is actually pretty good, and so far I have purchased several items from there that I absolutely love.

From Work To Dinner Date
Lose that business casual tweed, throw on some bling and a pair of heels, and you are dinner date ready! One of the reasons I purchased this top was because of its versatility. The balloon sleeves and mock neck make it a little edgier than your average top. Also I’m not usually a red person, but this season I have been really feeling it. Red is proven to be the most eye-catching color, so you will definitely make a statement in this. I also really love the look of mixing red, black and leopard print, so I will link so ideas below.

Classic Black & White
I will be the first to say that up until 2018 I NEVER paired black and white together. I always thought it looked too formal and basic. I’ve always been more into bold, bright colors and daring prints. So I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried something different, and I actually love it! As you can tell, cropped sweaters and faux leather pants have been a staple in my wardrobe this season. Just to be clear, I really only ever wear mid to high rise pants, so I’m not constantly walking around with a bare stomach, even in cropped sweaters. I like to save my abundance of crop tops for nights out on the town 😉 However, I can never say no to a loose fitted chunky knit, even in crop form. Throw in a jewel tone bag and this outfit can go from casual to evening ready.
Dressed to Slay
I think this coat may be my all time favorite of everything I bought during this haul. Not only is it actually really warm, but you just feel fabulous in it 😀 As you can tell, I’m on that faux fur train this season, I like em’ in all colors. I tend to gravitate towards mauve, and I was super bummed when I couldn’t find any booties to match this coat in my size. Although I got this coat at a one-of-a-kind boutique, I found the same one online from Tobi here. Size small is sold out, but I will link some similar pieces below.
I hope this blog post was useful and informative, and hopefully you will come out of it with a few new looks. If nothing else, maybe a little inspiration on ways to reuse items you may already own! As always, thank you for the love & support 🙂
